Each day our dedicated recreation co-ordinators produce a range of activities and engagements that are designed to stimulate our residents and encourage socialising. These activities are fun, mentally nourishing and for some of our residents, active. Our dementia care education programme, Connect, helps families understand the needs of dementia sufferers and is free to all our families.

We regularly hold community events at Acer Court and invite various organisations, groups and school children in to share with our residents. Acer Court is definitely part of the local community and has a role to play. We also have wireless broadband throughout the home and encourage residents to use on-line communications with family and friends.

Visitors are welcome to visitthe care home whenever they wish and family and friends can join you for some food and a drink. We provide quiet areas where there are no televisions, and an enclosed and furnished garden which we all like to use when the weather is fine. The home is close to junction 26 on the M1 on the and is also close to Phoenix Park tram stop. NVQ trained carers are available 24 hours a day, including specialist dementia trained carers in our specialist dementia suite.
